Liam McGrath is an actor, singer, dancer and choreographer currently based in central Scotland.
Liam graduated with his B.A. (Hons) Performance at the University of the West of Scotland in 2019, having previously trained at New College Lanarkshire where he graduated with an HND in Musical Theatre in 2017.
Liam most recently performed in Starbright Entertainments' Easter Pantomime RAPUNZEL as Dancer as well as understudying and performing as Prince Archie. While studying at the University West of Scotland he appeared as Seymour in
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Lucas Beineke in
THE ADDAMS FAMILY and Baby Face in
ANNIE ARE YOU OK?. During his time at New College Lanarkshire Liam performed in
ROCK OF AGES, GODSPELL, AMERICAN IDIOT, South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture’s Pantomime
SLEEPING BEAUTY and sang in the premier of original musical
THE RIFLES at the Hamilton Town House.
Liam made his choreography debut at age 21 when he choreographed MUSICAL THEATRE CABARET
at Deaf Connections in Glasgow in 2019. That same year he served as the Assistant Choreographer for THE ADDAMS FAMILY
in Ayr and for CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG
and FAME
both
with Rubber Chicken Theatre Company in Dunblane. He has gone on to choreograph shows such as THE WEDDING SINGER, SUNSHINE ON LEITH and YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN which was recently nominated for Best Production of The Year at The Scottish Emerging Theatre Awards.
Liam has hosted a number of Concerts and Cabarets, including VOICES FOR LUWERO, ONE NIGHT ONLY
at Eastwood Park Theatre, where he also served as a Featured Soloist, and THE CHILDREN'S VARIETY PERFORMANCE
at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall., and frequently performs as part of THE SECRET CABARET. In addition to performing onstage, Liam has also appeared onscreen in OUTLAW KING, THE KAREN DUNBAR SHOW, ZIG ZAG LOVE
and STILL GAME.
